Inside Kylie Jenner's BFF Stassie's 23rd birthday where beauty mogul flouts social distance rules again
KYLIE Jenner once again flouted social distancing rules as she celebrated her BFF Stassie Karanikolaou's 23rd birthday bash yesterday.
The 22-year-old appeared to ignore government guidelines as she cozied up to her pals for a snap while toasting to their friend's milestone – days after spotted at LA nightclub Bootsy Bellows without a face mask.
The party's theme appeared to take inspiration from Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls jersey number, 23, and the recent Netflix docuseries The Last Dance about the sports star.
Following the basketball theme, Kylie along with their pals donned black sweatsuits, which featured "Stassie Turns 23" in red and white lettering.
The photo, which Stassie shared with her 8.2million followers, Kylie could be seen beaming as she worked her hair into sleek straight style and sported her signature glamorous beauty look.
Captioning the group shot, she penned: "missing liv and taylor but these are my humans.. i appreciate you all more than you know ❤️ thank you for a special night".
The reality TV star's BFF was sure to showcase all the special details and moments from her night on social media, including a plethora of cakes, cupcakes and cookies that featured her face printed on them.
Keeping to the quarantine party's color scheme – red, black, and white – party goers were treated to chocolate covered strawberries and gourmet macaroons were decorated to match while they attempted some tie-dye.
In another shot, Stassie posed infront of giant numbers '23' while clad in a glittering red bandeau top and maxi skirt with a thigh high slit.
However, Kylie kept her social media usage to a minimum and shared a set of custom pillows of Stassie and their pals resting on a couch.
Earlier in the day, the E! star paid tribute to her bestie and shared a plethora of snaps of them dressed as Playboy Playmates, in Chanel crop tops, swimwear, matching minidress and all done up for Christmas.
She penned: "Happy birthday to my fairy 42 sister @stassiebaby!! You are the rarest of all time.. truly a gift to this world.
"And the best aunty to my babygirl [Stormi]. i can’t believe we are celebrating your 23rd birthday.
Adding: "I cherish every year we’ve spent together and i thank God for putting you in my life. i wouldn’t be able to do it without you.
"I have your back till the end of time. today and every day.. we celebrate you" (sic).
The TV star's post comes after the Kylie Cosmetics CEO ignored social-distancing rules as she was spotted at LA nightclub Bootsy Bellows with sister Kendall Jenner's pal Fai Khadra.
Bootsy Bellows was apparently closed for the public, so they had the whole lounge to themselves.
Despite Los Angeles being under lockdown still due to the coronavirus pandemic, they ignored social distancing rules.
Neither of them was wearing a mask or any protective gear during their outing.
It was the first time that the mother of one had been spotted following the scathing Forbes report.
Back in 2019, Forbes had named the KUWTK star the youngest self-made billionaire.
However, the business magazine recently claimed that she's not actually a billionaire, and "likely faked tax returns" over the years.
The business magazine said Kylie "inflated the size and success of her business for years."
The investigation claimed: "Forbes has recalculated Kylie’s net worth and concluded that she is not a billionaire.
"A more realistic accounting of her personal fortune puts it at just under $900 million, despite the headlines surrounding the Coty deal that seemed to confirm her billionaire status."
Forbes accused the Kardashians of going to "unusual" lengths to prove the extent of Kylie's wealth, including "inviting Forbes into their mansions and CPA’s offices, and even creating tax returns that were likely forged."
However, they admitted they could not prove the documents were actually forged.
Hours after the Forbes article was published, an angry Kylie shut down the claims that she forged her tax returns.
In the midst of the drama, Kylie Cosmetics also lost its CEO Christoph Honnefelder, who resigned from his position just six months after being hired.
A statement shared by Coty revealed that Simona Cattaneo, president of luxury brands, will be overseeing the "expansion of the Kylie business for Coty."
The CEO's decision to step down had nothing to do with Forbes' claims.
