I’m A Celeb’s Jacqueline Jossa slams ‘painful’ Kate Garraway in awkward swipe

I'm A Celebrity winner Jacqueline Jossa told Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway how she really felt about her with a cheeky dig during Alan Carr's star-studded show last night

As Alan pointed out how friendly everyone was to each other during the 2019 series of the jungle show, Jacqueline made a brutal joke about Kate's behaviour towards everyone.

She said: "It was very painful.

"She was too nice all the time."

Putting the Good Morning Britain presenter in her place, Jacqueline added: "She said sorry about everything."

Kate apologised and confessed: "I got on her nerves," before pulling a face at the audience.

The GMB presenter had annoyed her campmates when she offered herself up for a trial, despite not actually wanting to do it.

A row nearly started over who would be sent to the jungle jailhouse on basic rations, with Jacqueline and Girls Aloud's Nadine Coyle, 34, ruling themselves out first.

Kate was then picked to go and when Jacqueline asked her if she was happy with the decision, she replied: "I don't know really is the truth of it. Someone's got to go."

At the time, an annoyed Jacqueline said: "This is just ridiculous … you shouldn't have put your name in if you didn't want to go.

"There are people who wanted to go. They were up for it."

Kate ended up coming fourth on the show while Jacqueline took home the jungle crown, beating Andy Whyment, who took second place.

Alan Carr’s Celebrity Re-Play is available to stream on the ITV Hub.
