Hollyoaks cast Emmerdale and Doctors legend Corrinne Wicks as judge in custody case – and it’s bad news for Mercedes

HOLLYOAKS has cast soap legend Corrinne Wicks in a hard-hitting storyline.

The Emmerdale and Doctors star, 54, will make her telly comeback as the judge presiding over Mercedes McQueen's (Jennifer Metcalfe) custody battle.


The actress, who is best known for playing Ella Hart in the Dales and Doctors'Helen Thompson, will decide young Bobby Costello's fate.

Hollyoaks has been approached for comment.

It's shaping up to be a tense time for Mercedes as rival Wendy Blisset continues to manipulate Bobby in a bid to wrestle him away from his mum.

In coming episodes Wendy will attempt to make Bobby doubt his mum's abilities to care for him by sharing tawdry tales.

New images from inside the courtroom show a stunned looking Mercedes, suggesting the verdict might not go her way.

Meanwhile theories have gained traction in recent months that Bobby might grow into a super villain.
