Holly Willoughby, 39, was back on hand to host This Morning alongside co-star Phillip Schofield, 59, and the pair were scheduled to discuss the impact coronavirus had been having on the sex industry. Ahead of their interview with sex doll manufacturer Jade Stanley, the pair were joined by one of the human-like products on the sofa. The ITV presenter joked she’d been “replaced” by the mannequin but later went on to explain how one of the crew members had actually mistook ‘Bella’ for her.

Throughout the interview, Holly expressed her unease at being sat next to the sex doll, which was donned with a blonde wig.

From the back, it would have resembled the presenter’s own barnet and for this reason, the crew member assumed the mannequin was the host.

It’s fair to say the mother-of-three was not impressed with the comparison and told Phillip she was shocked she had been mistaken and been replaced for the human-like product.

Those watching at home also commented on the segment, with one writing on Twitter: “Tell me you are not seriously interviewing a sex doll?! Sorry, haven’t got the TV on at the moment.”

Another added on the social media platform: “Sex dolls sales quadrupled in lockdown?! Excuse me while I go vomit #ThisMorning.”
