Game of Thrones season 8 BLUNDER: Fans spot MAJOR Daenerys Targaryen gaffe – did you?

Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke) arrived in Winterfell for the first time, escorted by Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

But there was something amiss when it came to the Mother of Dragon’s hairstyle on the HBO series.

One Game of Thrones fan noticed that Daenerys’ braids had a different style from one shot to the next.

As she arrived in Winterfell, they were first seen crossed all over her head but in another frame not long after, they had been pulled to the back of head.

The fan shared pictures of the gaffe as they wrote on Twitter: “Dany is wearing different wigs during her arrival in Winterfell #GameOfThrones.”

Other fans flocked to comment on the post with some stating they thought something seemed different.

One shared: “Omg I kept looking at her hair and didn’t know why.”

“Thank you! I knew something was different!!” another exclaimed.

A third declared: “I noticed that too first because of the lack of braids thinking she should have more victories than that and then I was like op there they are.”

While some others attempted to explain away the mistake as a perfectly feasible change.

One jested: “I’m sure the Mother of Dragons has several hair stylists in her entourage.”

“Like ya’ll never had to stop to fix your hair and re-pin it when it started falling apart,” another wrote.

Elsewhere in the first episode, it concluded with Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) locking eyes with Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).

As fans will remember, Jaime is responsible for paralysing Bran after pushing him from a tower in the very first episode of the series when the young boy saw Jaime having sex with his sister Cersei (Lena Headey).

Now, Jaime star Nikolaj has revealed what’s going through the character’s mind when he sees the now grown-up Bran.

He told Entertainment Weekly: “First of all, I don’t think wheelchairs are a normal thing in Westeros. I think it’s like: ‘What the hell?’ and then, ‘Oh my god, that’s the kid.’

“I think he knows Bran didn’t die, but he doesn’t expect to meet him.

“His mission changes once again. It goes from: ‘I know my brother Tyrion is there and I’m going to fight the good fight’ to ‘I’m in deep s**t now.’ Because this is the Lord of Winterfell that I tried to kill and I’m sure he wants revenge. That’s what Jaime expects.”

But viewers will have to wait and see what Bran does next.

Game of Thrones season eight continues Sunday on HBO and Sky Atlantic on Monday at 2am.
