Furious Charlotte Hawkins swears at Piers Morgan after he winds her up in unseen Good Morning Britain clip posted by Piers

The 53-year-old host shared a behind the scenes image of Charlotte, 43, putting two fingers up at him off air on social media.

Piers shared the moment we all missed on the breakfast show this morning on Twitter.

He wrote: "What the viewers DIDN’T see this morning – Halo Hawkins finally snapping as I try to distract her during the news bulletin.. ⁦@CharlotteHawkns⁩ ⁦@GMB⁩."

Charlotte "snapped" after Piers tried to distract her during her segment on the ITV programme.

The moment has attracted a lot of attention and has been liked over 600 times.

Charlotte does not regret her out burst and retweeted the image, alongside the words: "You SO deserved it @piersmorgan!!"

Fans flocked to support Charlotte for hitting out at her colleague.

One Twitter user commented: "I think GMB should put a tape over Pier’s mouth when Charlotte is reading the new bulletin…problem solved."

Another wrote: "Is it any wonder she snapped, those girls deserve a medal day in day out."

The pair continued to let rip into one another on air, as Piers quizzed Charlotte, Susanna Reid and Richard Arnold about the pet names their partners give them.

When asked about her nicknames, Charlotte – who competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017 – said: "Couldn't possible reveal them."

Piers persisted: "My little hunny bunny? What is it? Littler perma-smile. My little dancing loser?"

Charlotte hit back likening the presenter to Chunk from The Goonies.

She retaliated: "Hardly a term of endearment, Chunk."

Piers was amused by the comment, and replied: "Only my wife gets to call me Chunk."

Later in the show Charlotte refused to look at Piers, and as she looked head on at the camera Piers glared at her from the side, hinting to tension between the two.
