Frozen 2: Kristen Bell has fans in TEARS with Disney song medley but there’s a BIG hole

Last night on The Jimmy Fallon Show Frozen 2 actress Kristen Bell joined the American presenter for a chat in the studio.

But to fans’ delight, their innocent interview turned into a gigantic Disney classics music medley performance.

Not unlike James Corden’s now well-known series of performances with various Hollywood actors and actresses acting out a list of their top films, this medley had one major difference.

Bell plays Anna in Frozen, but is just a hardcore fan of the other movies, and rather than act out the scenes, the duo were mostly just singing the musical tunes.

But what a performance it was – 17 different Disney songs made the cut including Colours of the Wind from Pocahontas, You’ve Got A Friend in Me from Toy Story, and Can You Feel The Love Tonight and Circle of Life from The Lion King.

The pair begun the duet with Mary Poppins, and the songs moved through the years, Bell and Fallon even jumped on a prop magic carpet to sing Whole New World from Aladdin.

When it was Bell’s turn to croon Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid, she even added in Ariel’s brief spoken-interlude.

The jungle Book’s Bare Necessities, Frozen’s Do You Wanna Build a Snowman and the sequel’s new song Into the Unknown also made the cut.

The duo then finished off the rocking medley with a rendition of Let it Go, normally performed by Bell’s co-star Idina Menzel in the first film.

Fans flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on the performance.

“And it was the best..I mean who doesn’t know all those songs,” one person wrote.

Another joked: “Lol..just hearing Jimmy singing ‘you’ve got a friend in me’ makes you wanna be friends with him.”

“Loved the History of Disney songs yesterday!! So fun and lovely!! And ILY Jimmy!! Love the Roots too!!” a third enthused.

“The Roots nailed it,” a fourth agreed. “Kristen nailed it. you nailed it. This was absolutely amazing & I’m totally obsessed. haha.”

“Disney+ music edition @jimmyfallon and @KristenBell were amazing performing Disney’s history through songs,” a fifth shared.

And a sixth said: “Is there anything she can’t do?! @jimmyfallon and @KristenBell are amazing. I could watch this all day!”

Others were sceptical of the rendition, as one person asked: “Why do we—as a nation—continue to allow Jimmy Fallon to believe he can sing?”

And one fan pointed out the absence of some major Disney movies in the compilation.

Of course, it would be near-impossible for the duo to include every single Disney hit, but these were certainly missed.
