May the Fourth by with fans everywhere. This year, fans don’t have to go to a galaxy far, far away to catch up with their favorite characters. Thanks to Disney’s streaming platform, Star Wars content is available for binge-watching like never before. Here are a few of the new movies and television shows coming to Disney+ for May 4, also known as Star Wars Day.
Fans can watch the final episode of ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’
If you’ve ever wanted to know what happened in between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, there’s one animated show with a lot of the answers. Disney released Star Wars: The Clone Wars and halted production before fans discovered what lead up to the dreaded “Order 66.” Now, it’s back and available for binge-watching.
Thanks to Disney’s streaming platform, the studio released season 7 exclusively for subscribers. Disney+ released new episodes of this animated series on a weekly basis, beginning during 2020. However, the finale and the last episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, premieres on May 4.

There’s a lot of work that goes into creating one of Disney+’s most popular shows. That is, of course, the first-ever Star Wars live-action series, The Mandalorian. Based on the trailer, this 8-episode docuseries takes fans through the set of this Disney+ original television series and gives a behind-the-scenes look at each step of the creative process.
“Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian is an opportunity for fans of the show to take a look inside and get to see a different perspective, and perhaps a greater understanding, of how The Mandalorian came together and some of the incredibly talented contributors throughout Season One,” Writer and Director Jon Favreau said during an interview. “We had a great experience making the show and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you.”
There is a roundtable discussion with the directors and a separate chat with members of the cast. Primarily, it showcases the different aspects that made this one of the most popular shows of 2019. New episodes of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian premiere on a weekly basis, with the first episode debuting on May 4.
‘The Rise of Skywalker’ joins Disney+ this May
It’s only been a few months since fans saw the final chapter in the Skywalker saga and Rey’s story. Now, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker becomes available for streaming on Disney+. This completes the entire 9-episode movie saga, with the other 8 Star Wars films already added to the Disney+ library.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres on Disney+ on May 4. In the meantime, fans can watch already released episodes of this live-action Star Wars series on Disney’s subscription service.
