Emmerdale spoilers: Maya Stepney exposed as a paedophile and left for dead

As the week kicks off perverted Maya – played by Louisa Clein – seethes with jealousy as 15-year-old Jacob grows closer to Liv Flaherty.

When Maya spots Liv pull Jacob into Mill Cottage, she’s overcome with feelings of envy.

Meanwhile Liv is pleased as Jacob – Joe-Warren Plant – accepts her asexuality and they’re both feel encouraged about their blossoming relationship.

Green-eyed Maya ‘accidentally’ lets it slip to Liv’s brother Aaron Dingle and his husband Robert Sugden that Jacob is at the Mill alone with Liv.

A furious Aaron – Danny Miller – heads back to the cottage where he finds Liv and Jacob cuddled up together.

Liv is mortified when Aaron throws Jacob out.

The next day Maya is pleased when she seems to have Jacob back under her control but – as they share a moment – Aaron interrupts and drops Maya in it, revealing she stitched Jacob and Liv up.

A furious Jacob tells Maya to stay away from him, leaving her crushed. The next day she’s left unnerved as she tries to apologise to the schoolboy.

Jacob isn’t having any of it and resists her advances.

He also tells her that he’s going to reveal all to his dad – Maya’s boyfriend David Metcalfe.

Maya is terrified that she’s lost control of Jacob and decides to leave the village.

But as she’s packing her bags she falls off a stool, knocking herself unconscious after hitting her head.

Will Jacob go through with his threats to tell David the truth?
