Emmerdale spoilers: Jai Sharma and Laurel Thomas romance revealed in Harriet Finch twist?
The Emmerdale pair have been determined to find ‘the one’ after recent dating struggles and have taken to an online dating site to find love.
So engrossed in finding the perfect match online, they have been ignoring potential romance with each other right under their noses in the ITV soap.
The first hint of their future romance came after a disastrous date for Jai (played by Chris Bisson) with another woman in the Woolpack.
Determined to get rid of the woman, Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) helped out Jai by kissing him in front of her to make her think they were a couple.
The trick worked and the kiss awoke something in the pair they didn’t know existed.
Tension has simmered between the two ever since, but so far nothing happened. Until now.
This week, they will find themselves nearly giving into temptation after the first kiss, but will be disturbed by Jai’s dad Rishi Sharma (Bhaskar Patel).
It will get even more frustrating for Jai as he then invites Laurel to dinner to then only be gutted when his dad asks him to replace Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) on a delivery job.
Jai and Laurel will feel the burning desire brought about by unfulfilled lust and romance and will finally get what they want after Jai gives his staff a long lunch.
However, their kiss will be discovered by a confused Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) as she barges in on them.
Will Dawn reveal their romance before it has even properly started?
Luckily for them, Dawn will have her bigger problems as she is set to find out her dad Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) and Harriet Finch’s (Katherine Dow Blyton) romance.
After discovering Jai and Laurel’s romance, she will discover there is in fact nothing going on between him and Harriet.
Still unaware that Will and Harriet recently had a fling, she believes Jai and Harriet had a romance because that is what Harriet told her.
Fearing for her sobriety, Harriet lied to protect Dawn from the truth but she will soon be found out as Laurel tells her there was nothing going on between Harriet and Jai.
Then storming over to Woodbine, Dawn confronts Harriet about the lie and suspects something suspicious is going on.
She will then get the shock of her life as her dad Will emerges from the other room to reveal the devastating news for Dawn.
This could setback her sobriety and force her back into addiction and further away from being reunited with son Lucas.
Meanwhile, Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) could be set to destroy her family in a shocking storyline.
She is set to embark on an affair that will threaten her marriage to Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).
Emmerdale continues tonight on ITV at 8pm.
