EastEnders viewers spot clues that prove Ray will murder unexpected character
EastEnders viewers are convinced that sinister Ray Kelly will MURDER a much-loved resident on New Year’s Day.
After watching the explosive New Year’s Day trailer, some fans have decided they know who will die after spotting some vital clues.
On first viewing many people were pretty confident that either Ray or Mel Owen would meet a grisly end after a fiery confrontation in the woods.
However, a crucial scene shown behind closed doors seems to suggest an unexpected character will actually be killed.
The gritty trailer starts with Mel setting up her devious scheme to get revenge on Ray with his two wives.
The action then cuts between Hunter calling Ray out on his lies, while Mel and her son have a brutal showdown with the bigamist in the woods.
Emotional Hunter says: "You said mum was the only one for you."
While Ray insists that there are "two side to every story" as he prepares to spin some more lies.
Angry Hunter is then seen rushing to grab a knife, perhaps planning to murder his step dad.
The next scene shows furious Mel call Ray a "monster" as they clash in the dark forest.
Ray wreaks havoc as he attacks terrified Mel and Hunter and tries to get into their car.
Frightened Mel frantically tries to get the car going as Hunter shouts "drive".
But the most telling moment comes when Hunter is heard saying: "No dad, please."
The camera focuses on the door as Ray is heard struggling with Hunter on the other side.
Could he really be about to kill his own step son?

One viewer said: "So I’m guessing hunter gets killed"
"Hunter is going to die," added another.
A third said: "Was that Hunter shouting "No dad – please" ? This looks exciting"
