EastEnders fans are set to see lots more drama surrounding Nancy Carter (played by Maddy Hill) this week. Nancy has struggled in recent episodes, as her relationship with her parents Linda (Kellie Bright) and Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) could be at breaking point. Will the family arguments push Nancy over the edge?

In upcoming scenes of the soap, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) still can’t come to terms with the fact her daughter Nancy doesn’t want children.

There’s been mounting tension between the pair ever since Linda made Nancy return to Walford from New Zealand.

Following yet another disagreement with her family, Nancy decided to sleep rough in the gym which is where Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) finds her.

Later at Sharon’s house, Nancy opens up to her about her argument with mum Linda.

However, the pair are interrupted when Sharon’s younger brother Zack Hudson (James Farrar) appears.

A flirtatious Zack then takes Nancy out for a drink at Ruby’s in an attempt to cheer her up.

While there, Zack asks how he can help her and Nancy jokes that all she needs is her toothbrush.

Zack soon darts off to The Vic, but his heroic plan doesn’t go according to plan.

Linda is incredulous with Zack, but he accidentally let’s slip that Nancy is planning to move out.

Later, Nancy is seen packing up her belongings while Linda and Mick beg her to stay.

Realising her parents are coming from the right place Nancy agrees to stay on the condition that they support her choice.

Later on, Sharon asks Nancy if she could babysit Albie and she reluctantly agrees.

Whilst looking after Albie, Nancy begins to feel unwell and suspects she’s about to have an epileptic fit.

She quickly puts Albie in his playpen and calls Mick just in time as she crashes to the ground.

Has the ongoing stress of family arguments taken a toll on Nancy’s health? And will Mick be able to get to his daughter in time?

Viewers will have to tune in to find out what’s next for the daughter of the Queen Vic landlord.

In a recent episode, Nancy made the shock revelation that because she doesn’t want kids she wants to get sterilised.

After the instalment aired fans stormed Twitter to share their shock at Nancy’s decision.

One pointed out: “OMG could Nancy not wanting kids actually be the reason for her & Tam getting Divorced?”

“Omg Nancy is getting sterilised I was not expecting that one at all,” another fan added.

Maddy Hill, who plays Nancy on the famous BBC soap, recently opened up about her own health, sharing a social media post about her anxiety.

In a post on Instagram, the actress wrote: “Thanks to anyone who tuned in last night! I love playing Nancy but I find getting recognised in public for playing her really difficult.”

“It’s been a big cause of anxiety for me recently (which I had buried- in true human fashion – and only realised a couple of days ago),” Maddy admitted to her followers.

EastEnders continues at 8pm on BBC One.
