EastEnders’ Jean Slater (played by Gillian Wright) and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) have had a fractious relationship since the Panesar matriarch arrived on Albert Square. In upcoming scenes Jean will have a nasty reaction to the medicine Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) has been drugging her with. As Jean takes a turn for the worst Suki is going to notice something very strange, will she expose Kush?
Suki rocked up on Albert Square earlier this year in a bid to bring her family closer together and also make up with her daughter Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha).
Originally Suki told her family she had cancer and wasted no time in befriending Jean when quizzing her on her symptoms.
Jean started to consider Suki a friend but she quickly started to notice little details that didn’t make sense.
She became obsessed with getting to the bottom of Suki’s treatment in the wake of Daniel Cook’s (Ade Edmonson) death and it all came to a head when Jean confronted Suki at the Queen Vic.

Suki’s kids tried to stand up for her but she quickly gave up the charade and admitted she didn’t have cancer but said she wasn’t sorry because it brought her children back together.
Jean was furious and even though she was quickly given the all-clear from her own cancer, there has been a silent feud between the two women ever since.
However, in more recent scenes Jean has been trying to get her life back on track after her beloved Daniel’s death.
As viewers know, Jean has always battled with bipolar disorder and takes medicine to keep it on track.
Last week, the Slater household started to notice Jean’s behaviour was a lot more erratic than usual and Kush confronted her.
Jean admitted she hadn’t been taking her medication but she was fine and trying to live her best life.
This wasn’t good enough for Kush, who took matters into his own hands and collected her prescription and started crushing it into her food and tea.
But on Tuesday Jean’s health took a turn and she was seen on Albert Square swaying and holding onto her head.

Next week, it will become clear Jean is having a seizure and Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) will be forced to call an ambulance.
Suki will notice what is going on and rush over to help Jean despite their past quarrelling.
As the ambulance arrives though, Suki will notice something isn’t right – will she be able to put the pieces together?
Suki has always been one of those residents that seems to be able to get any information she wants from whomever she chooses, so Kush may be in big trouble.
