EastEnders spoilers: Dotty Cotton for shock romance with Bobby Beale in plot twist

EastEnders has always been one for developing feelings between two unsuspecting residents, and they might just do it again, leaving viewers shocked at the plot twist. Could Dotty Cotton (played by Milly Zero) and Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) find themselves embroiled in romance in coming episodes?

It’d be the plot twist we’ve all been waiting for, adding to the growing tension between Dotty and the Beale family.

It’s not news to fans that the troublemaker has it out for Bobby’s dad Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), ever since she found that incriminating voicemail linking him to Dennis Rickman Jr’s (Bleu Landau) death on the boat.

Could she be planning this to make things increasingly more uncomfortable for Ian?

Dotty likes to play games – it seems she gets her villainous streak from her evil dad, Nick Cotton (John Altman).

As she’s been hanging around the family more to show Ian who’s boss, in coming episodes it’ll become clear that Bobby has developed a crush on his dad’s nemesis.

Bex Fowler (Jasmine Armfield) teased him about his feelings for her best friend in the episodes leading up to the boat party, so Dotty might already know that he fancies her.

But alas, she seems to have her sights set on his brother Peter (Dayle Hudson), who she can’t seem to take her eyes off, despite her hatred towards his dad.

Unfortunately for Dotty, Peter seems occupied with his ex Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) – will she take advantage of Bobby’s gestures in order to threaten Ian?

Elsewhere on the square, there could be heartbreak for the Carter family as Linda (Kellie Bright) overdoses after another relapse.

The recovering alcoholic and her doting husband Mick (Danny Dyer), made the tough decision to move on from the infamous Queen Vic pub, where there was too much temptation.

Following Denny’s funeral, a grieving and emotional Sharon Mitchell (Leticia Dean), flew off the handle at Linda for getting the wrong pizzas at the wake.

Struggling with her addiction and the events of the harrowing day, the landlady sneaked a sip of her mother-in-law Shirley’s (Linda Henry) vodka, only to be rumbled and forced to explain herself.
