EastEnders baby twist, Emmerdale affair shocker and 18 brand new soap spoilers

Yes, it’s that time of week again when we look ahead at what’s on the cards next week, and when we say it’s a week not to be missed we truly mean it, with a number of shocks in store that took us truly by surprise.
Sonia Fowler worries that she might pregnant in EastEnders, concerned about how Reiss Colwell will take the news if this does prove to be the case, while Emmerdale’s Gabby Thomas makes a drunken pass at one of her fellow housemates.
Coronation Street, meanwhile, sees Sarah Platt left with some explaining to do yet again, but things take a turn when she’s rushed to hospital. Over in Hollyoaks, Maxine Minniver is left feeling upset after a comment about her scar.

EastEnders
Missing money at The Vic leads to Gina being questioned, but it subsequently comes to light that Anna stole the money to hire a private investigator in a bid to track down her mum ‘Rose’. Gina is livid, but Anna goes through with her mission, with George subsequently working out what she’s up to. Upon her dad’s request, Anna agrees to call off the search – that is, before the private investigator makes a breakthrough in the case!
Freddie decides that he wants to find his dad after Bert and Ernie’s party, demanding the truth from Kat about his father’s identity. Kat lies, not wanting to betrayal Little Mo, but Tommy later overhears his mum discussing the matter with Jean and Harvey, setting off to inform Freddie that his father is named Graham Foster. Freddie tracks Graham down, meeting with him, much to his family’s horror.
Sonia is late on her period and confides in Whitney, revealing that she might be pregnant. Reiss tries to set up a lunch date to apologise for his previous insensitivity around Sonia’s feeling towards Debbie, but he accidentally puts his foot in it when he drunkenly shares his negative views towards the prospect of children, unaware of Sonia’s predicament.
Coronation Street
Adam plans a gender reveal party, much to Sarah’s surprise. Things, however, take a turn, with Sarah left desperate to save her marriage, as she begs Adam to talk to her. Adam rails at her over her lies, with Sarah suddenly hit with stomach pain, as she’s rushed to hospital. Adam, horrified, believed Sarah was faking her pain so when he finds out otherwise, he rushes to be by her side.
Jenny grows concerned about the Rovers’ finances, confiding in Stephen that she’s struggling. Stephen suggests she reduce portion sizes, and the landlady takes his advice, before revealing that she’s putting up prices and room rental, in addition to reducing the staff members’ shifts.
The Alahan clan are joined by Bernie and Paul for a special dinner in memory of Sunita, which sees them take a photo together. Bernie, however, notices that there is a bubble of light hovering above Asha in the picture, suggesting that it’s a human spirit. Dev is quick to shut such a claim down.
Emmerdale
Nicky and Suni enjoy a kiss in the cafe, but the pair are wretched when Gabby witnesses their moment of passion. Gabby proceeds to get drunk and confronts Nicky over what she’s seen, lashing out as she tries to punch him – but winds up hitting Billy instead! Billy consoles her. Gabby gets the wrong end of the stick, however, leaning in for a kiss! Billy promises to keep quiet, but Gabby’s gaze lingers on him a little too long.
Nicola reveals that the new bus stop is a memorial for Harriet and Liv, with her faith in humanity restored at the turnout for the unveiling. There is, however, shock on the cards when a car screeches to a halt, with Colin, Marshall’s dad, exiting the vehicle, much to Laurel’s horror, demanding the unveiling be started over. The councillor’s lacklustre speech results in the crowd dispersing and thus he rages at Laurel and Jai, with his outburst caught on camera and subsequently trending on social media.
Dan’s hearing commences and Amelia is stunned when Julie, Lloyd’s wife, shows up at the courthouse. Staring at Julie, Dan is overwhelmed by guilt over what has transpired and thus pleads guilty, much to Amelia’s horror.
Hollyoaks
Donna-Marie reckons that knowing Joel’s secret could prove useful in getting her drugs, but Joel refuses to be blackmailed. A fire, however, soon breaks out in the Lomaxes, with Joel managing to save Donna-Marie, who is treated in hospital for smoke inhalation and later tries to explain her relapse.
Maxine continues to feel insecure about her scar after a comment from Lucas left her upset, shutting out her sister Lizzie, who is determined to help her. Beau, meanwhile, tries to help, but will he able to do so?
Hunter helps Freya with her art and confides in her about his own past. John Paul worries about Hunter getting so close when he offers to do a drawing of her mum Lexi. Sally warns Hunter about getting too close to Freya as well, but will he listen?
