Eamonn Holmes looks unrecognisable is dashing tennis throwback | The Sun

EAMONN Holmes looked almost unrecognisable as he shared a tennis throwback to celebrate the Wimbledon final.

The presenter, 62, took a trip down memory lane with a photo from the 1980s.

Wearing an Adidas white and black sports t-shirt with matching shorts and socks, Eamonn posed up a storm from the tennis court.

Rocking a head of curly dark locks, Eamonn smouldered at the camera and showed off his incredible physique.

The TV favourite wrote alongside the snap: "Circa 1980 ….. Maybe I could have been a contender if I'd have stuck at it.

"What a day to to play. #scorcher #wimbledon #Djokovic #kyrgios"

It comes after Eamonn admitted he would return to ITV – but only if his 'enemies' quit.

Eamonn and wife Ruth Langsford were brutally axed from This Morning last year after more than a decade on the show, and it left a bad taste in the veteran broadcaster's mouth.

Despite moving on to a hosting role on GB News, Eamonn hasn't completely ruled out a return to ITV, but on one condition.

Speaking to The Daily Star: “I’d work for ITV again. There would have to be an apology and a couple of resignations.

“I’m not stupid. I know that in this industry it’s not about what I want to do.

"None of us has a right to be in a job. It’s about what channels want to do."

Earlier this week, Eamonn picked up the News Presenter of the Year gong at the star-studded TRIC Awards inside London's Grosvenor House.

Taking aim at his old bosses during a Q&A in the winners' room, Eamonn ranted: "The ministry of lies, their press office, of course, which chunder out the same sort of… yeah, the ministry of lies.

"So the point is I did not resign from ITV, ITV resigned from me, and I never received a single explanation once of why they wanted rid of me, so that was that.

"No matter what you’ve been told. And also the sort of stuff that comes out: 'Eamonn believes he’s male, pale and stale'. It doesn't look like it, does it? Eamonn never once said it, ITV press office said that."

The 62-year-old insisted he's "never slagged off ITV", instead he claimed he's simply been 'telling the truth'.
