Destiny’s Child’s Letoya Luckett reveals she’s pregnant with second child – The Sun

EX DESTINY's Child singer Letoya Luckett has revealed she is pregnant with her second child with Tommicus Walker.

Cradling her growing bump in a snap on Instagram, LeToya said she was "overjoyed" to be welcoming another baby into the world.

She said: "Dear God, thank you. Growing & glowing in your light & love! Overjoyed & grateful for our little bundle"

Her former bandmate Kelly Roland was among the first to share their excitement and said: "Congrats!!!!" alongside a string of hands in prayer.

LeToya was axed by Destiny's Child's manager and Beyonce's father Matthew, just as the band started to find mainstream success.

But Letoya and Beyonce put their differences aside in 2018 when then-pregnant Letoya went to support the singer at her concert.

Beyonce, who was still wearing a beaded bodysuit from her performance, shared the image on her website after her On The Run II Tour show in Dallas.

Cradling her growing baby bump, LeToya was seen beaming widely as she cuddled her long-time pal.

There was no sign of bad blood between the pair, despite LeToya being given the boot from Destiny's Child back in 2000.

Beyonce shot to fame in the band alongside Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, before embarking on her hugely successful solo career.

LeToya was part of the second line-up in 1993 after Nikki and Nina Taylor and Tavar Davis were axed by Beyonce's father Matthew, the band's manager.

After six years of mild success, the girls released their breakthrough album Writing's On The Wall, which included hits Say My Name and Bills, Bills, Bills.

But LeToya and Matthew clashed during its production when she and bandmate LaTavia Roberson accused him of favouring Beyonce and Kelly and keeping most of their profits.

The girls were swiftly sacked and only discovered they had been replaced by Michelle and Farrah Franklin when they starred in the Say My Name music video.

LeToya branded the feud the most "heartbreaking" thing to happen to her during an interview with Billboard last year.

She said: "As far as what went down, it was like a horrible break-up of a marriage or serious relationship.

"What happened was due to management and there are certain things that you can’t control.

"There’s nothing about growing a career with your friends – we played together, we laughed together and we cried together. I’m grateful to be a part of the legacy."
