Presenter Dermot O'Leary left viewers rather confused after he was labelled as an expert on fish during an episode of The Wheel.

The popular BBC show had viewers hooked on Saturday night (November 19) as three contestants battled it out to win as much money as possible.

The first contestant to take on The Wheel was Milfred, who worked as a school chef. Sticking to a category he knows and loves, Milfred opted for "fish" which Dermot was an expert in.

But fans of the show were left perplexed with the former X Factor host being labelled as an expert in all things fish and jumped onto Twitter to share their thoughts on the matter.

One viewer questioned: "Dermot’s category being Fish has really confused me.. why???"

Another joked: "Next series Dermot's specialist subject will be fish from the Second World War."

A third said: "Dermot O’Leary an expert in fish."
