Danniella Westbrook sparks concern as she tells her children 'tomorrow is not promised' amid hospital dash

DANNIELLA Westbrook sparked concern this afternoon as she posted a message to her children and mum.

She shared a post saying "tomorrow is not promised" and "I love you", tagging in son Kai, daughter Jodie and her mother Susan.

The former EastEnders revealed she was in hospital on Thursday night as she shared a photograph outside an ambulance.

However, she had thought to be on the mend after coming back from an infection and being transferred from intensive care to a regular hospital ward.

Posting today, she shared a message on Instagram to the sound of How Long Will I Love You by Ellie Goulding.

It read: "Tell someone you love them today. Because tomorrow is not promised. To my family and my friends, I love you."

She then shared Kai, Jodie and Susan's Instagram names with a red heart beside them.

Danniella, 47, appeared in good spirts earlier in the week as she enjoyed a night out – looking almost unrecognisable after getting filler and Botox.

But the Sam Mitchell star was taken into ICU after a sinus infection was failed to be treated by antibiotics leaving her "really poorly".

She shared a photo on Instagram showing herself arriving at hospital as doctors worried the infection could spread to "her brain".

Sharing pictures on Instagram last night, the star was in a reflective mood posting shots of her back in her EastEnders days and having her hair styled 25 years ago.

Writing an emotional note to the fans who had shared kind messages with her, she wrote: "Sending love and thanks to all for the get well wishes. Love Westie."

A close pal exclusively told The Sun that the star had been very unwell but was now "on the mend".

Tell someone you love them today. Because tomorrow is not promised. To my family and my friends, I love you

They explained: "Danniella is really poorly. She ended up in ICU after antibiotics for a sinus infection didn't work.

"Experts were concerned infected mucus could track back to her brain, but she is being well cared for in hospital and is on the mend."

The insider concluded that Danniella was back in a normal hospital ward as she continued to get better with the help of doctors.

It comes after she bravely revealed she had relapsed amid her drug addiction battle and was now getting help.

The actress, who has struggled with drug use for many years, admitted she is now searching for a natural high and has quit champagne and cocaine.

Danniella also battled Covid for a second time in July after catching the virus despite having been vaccinated.
