Dancing on Ice’s Holly and Phil make cheeky jibe at Gemma Collins
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were caught out making a cheeky comment at Gemma Collins’ expense as Dancing On Ice kicked off.
The GC has been heard moaning about the upcoming group routine to the Vengaboys as she refused to dance to the song.
And Holly and Phil did not leave this out when they opened up the show, commenting about how she refused to perform to the famous song.
Holly said: "Gemma Collins will be channelling her inner Beyonce."
At this, Phil joked: "But not the Vengaboys?!"
Holly giggled as she replied: "Nope, she’ll be having none of that."
Phil’s cheeky quip came after he admitted he wasn’t optimistic about Gemma’s staying power on the show after she famously walked out of I’m A Celebrity back in 2014.
On This Morning recently, Phil said: "I made no secret of the fact that I’ve said to Gemma herself ‘it’ll be a miracle if you stick with this to the live shows’.
"I can confirm, as I walked in This Morning, I was hear for 40 minutes and Gemma was rehearsing on the ice. She is here."
In a sneak peek at rehearsals last week, Gemma was seen threatening to quit after her professional partner Matt Evers told her she would be dancing to the cheesy Venga Boys track We Like To Party.
She said: "You are joking. I’m leaving the show. Is this a joke? No, I’m leaving the show."
Dancing on Ice airs Sundays at 6pm on ITV.
