Dancing On Ice’s Chris lashes out at audience for booing him a second time

Christopher Dean lashed out at the Dancing On Ice audience tonight after they booed him for a second time that evening.

Magician Ben Hanlin and professional partner Carlotta Edwards had performed to iconic song My Heart Will Go On from Titanic.

However, while the 61-year-old judge felt Ben had improved, he didn't quite believe he deserved the 9.5s given to him by John Barrowman and Jayne Torville and gave him a nine.

After the audience booed him again, he decided to say something back to the audience.

  • Dancing On Ice chaos as Chris is forced to intervene in John Barrowman's spat with co-stars

  • Dancing On Ice's Perri Kiely in tears as he receives first 10s of the series

He said: "First of all, for the people that are booing, I'd just like to explain the marking. So 9.5 was my highest mark tonight, so that's my first place.

"Nine is my second place. Ten happens to be your first place, 9.5 is your second place."

Chris gestured to his co-stars before adding: "Just so everyone understands!"

Later, all of the celebrities took part in a skate battle which saw them all take to the ice at the same time.

They would then be awarded extra points depending on how they had been placed by each of the judges.

However the leaderboard didn't end up changing too much afterwards as Lisa and Tom came fifth, Joe and Alex fourth, Libby and Mark third, Ben and Carlotta second and Perri and Vanessa first.
