Dancing On Ice's Carlotta and Alexander quash split rumours with loved-up snap

Dancing On Ice’s Carlotta Edwards and Alexander Demetriouhave hit back at rumours their 11-year relationship had broken down with aloved-up snap ahead of the finale.

The ice skating pair’s relationship and four-year marriage wasreported today to have hit a breaking point due to his close relationship withLove Island’s Maura Higgins.

It was also suggested the pair had quietly called time ontheir relationship as a result.

But that’s clearly not the case with the pair breaking theirsilence with a sweet picture showing them snuggled up togetherbehind-the-scenes of the DOI finale.

Posting the photo online, Carlotta wrote: ‘Love this one somuch. Can’t wait for you guys to see the voting window routine. It’s trulymagical.’

Both Carlotta and Alexnader seen performing in grouproutines as this year’s winner was finally announced after a series ofshowstopping finale routines.

Rumours that Carlotta and Alexander had called time on theirromance came just days after Alexander’s dance partner Maura Higgins announcedshe’d split with her Love Island beau, Curtis Pritchard.

It’s been reported that Curtis had been getting close to adancer on his tour – while it’s also been claimed they split up months ago butpretended to be together for the sake of their careers.

Maura’s been mending a broken heart withthe help of her pals on Dancing On Ice, and appeared at the finale to cheeron the three finalists – Libby Clegg, Perri Kiely and Joe Swash.
