Corrie Elaine's fate, EastEnders Ian death horror and 18 more soap spoilers

Several residents of soapland face judgment next week in what promises to be a week that will change everything forever.

Yasmeen Nazir’s (Shelley King) trial commences in Coronation Street, but Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) wastes little time in painting her as a violent alcoholic.

Meanwhile Tim (Joe Duttine) successfully tracks down Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox), and makes a huge request.

Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) is left for dead in EastEnders, as a shocking whodunit story kicks off, but just who carried out the devastating blow?

Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) and Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) are left in shock in Emmerdale when they discover that Laurel is pregnant, and soon they are having to make a big decision.

Cher Winters (Bethannie Hare) finds herself in deadly danger in Hollyoaks, when she encounters Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle) but will she escape with her life intact?

It’s all kicking off in soapland next week, eh?

Coronation Street

Yasmeen’s trial kicks off, and it’s safe to say that she is nervous. Evil Geoff commences his signature manipulation, as he takes the witness box and depicts Yasmeen as a violent alcoholic. Yasmeen is horrified by his lies.

Having finally located Elaine, Tim visits her in hospital and apologises for ever disbelieving that she was his his mother. However when he asks her to give evidence at the trial, how will she react?

Leanne arranges Oliver’s memorial in Victoria Gardens. As the service arrives, Tracy worries that there’s no sign of Steve. Steve visits Oliver’s old room in the hospital only to find it now occupied by another very poorly child.

As the mourners gather for Oliver’s memorial service, a breathless Steve shows up. Leanne’s shocked to spot Sam hovering outside the gardens

EastEnders

Linda attempts to recreate a date she and Mick had when they were 12, but when his reaction leaves her devastated, she reaches for the bottle. However, Max attempts to stop her from drinking, and the two share another kiss — which Ian sees!

Mick and Katy visit the care home where he grew up. Katy is nervous about what the visit could trigger, but Mick is determined to get answers. When they arrive, they find the care home boarded but Mick doesn’t give up and once inside, old memories come flooding back. 

As the week comes to an end, all is still in The Queen Vic, and Ian lies motionless on the floor. The question is: who attacked him?

Emmerdale

Laurel and Jai head for a private scan, and the sonographer predicts that Laurel is thirteen weeks pregnant, and a senior consultant explains that it’s likely that the baby will have a type of chromosomal syndrome.

Charity receives a letter from Vanessa, and is left devastated. However, she’s got other problems to deal with, as Moira tears a strip off her for the way she’s behaving around Noah. With Moira having left, a heartbroken Charity opens up about what Vanessa has done.

Paul is desperate to get Liv on side, and thus he has a word with her. Liv feels threatened by what he has to say, and things take a turn for the worse as a result, as she feels dizzy and has a seizure. Paul helps her and she starts coming round.

Hollyoaks

The next McQueen sin is revealed, Sylver fears it’s about Cher. He desperately tries to find the cash to pay off the blackmailer and protect her secret. Unfortunately for Cher, her secret is the least of her worries, as she finds herself in deadly danger when she unknowingly comes face-to-face with Silas!

Marnie knows full well that Juliet is a drug dealer, but James has remained in the dark about what his little sister has been getting up to — that is, until now. After the initial shock sets in, he devises a plan to free her from evil Victor’s clutches.

Theresa promises to help Joel get his mojo back, but Cleo issues Joel with a stern warning— instructing him to stay away from Theresa, who is evidently a bad influence. Joel regret his recent actions with Theresa, and asks Cleo for help to keep what he’s done from Goldie.
