Coronation Street’s Faye ‘turns on’ Geoff after seeing brutal Sally ‘abuse’
Coronation Street's Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) has been supportive of her evil grandfather Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) from the start.
But is the youngster set to join the long line of Weatherfield women who've turned against the manipulative radio presenter?
Next week Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) is troubled to hear from her granddaughter Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) that Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) has gone missing and might not be able to testify in court.
Alya later confronts Geoff in front of his granddaughter Faye, who tells Geoff he might be better selling his share of Speed Daal to Alya after all.
Corrie fans will remember that Faye witnessed Geoff threatening his ex-wife Elaine shortly before her disappearance at the beginning of August.
The episode ended with a cliffhanger as Geoff was seen destroying Elaine’s phone and chucking her SIM card away, and Elaine hasn't been seen since.
Faye later asked Geoff about his argument with a woman in an alley – but Geoff was quick to insist it was just a random "mad" woman.
The young girl saw her evil grandfather's nasty side as she walked in on him verbally abusing Sally during Friday's episode.
Geoff raged at his gobsmacked daughter-in-law Sally (Sally Dynevor) for giving Yasmeen’s stolen money to Alya and encouraging her to buy him out of Speed Daal and told her she’d picked the wrong side.
He then went on to imply that he’d told his son Tim the best way to move on from her was to get "under" someone else.
Geoff sneered: "I told my laddo that the only way to get over one woman is to get under another.
“Why are you so shocked that blood is thicker than water? That dads and lads have an unbreakable bond? My son will always have my back.
"I walk on water whereas you just grow wrinklier and more boring by the day."
Sally was horrified by his cruel words, but Geoff’s face fell when Faye appeared and told him off for speaking so awfully to Sally.
Will Faye tell her dad Tim what she witnessed and managed to turn him against Geoff?
Fans will have to tune in to find out wether Faye teams up with Sally and Alya.
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV at 7.30pm
