Coronation Street’s Aggie receives big news amid huge Bailey family out

Coronation Street's newest family the Baileys have sent shockwaves through Weatherfield since moving onto the famous street last year.

From clashing with neighbours to a major sexuality announcement, we're sure there is a lot more to come from Ed, Aggie, James and Michael Bailey.

Viewers are yet to find out more about mum Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw) but could she be hiding something from her nearest and dearest as Coronation Street spoilers just there is trouble set to arise?

James Bailey (Nathan Graham) bravely told his dad Ed (Trevor Micheal Georges) he was gay in emotional after he started seeing Danny, who his father had warmed to.

Aggie and Michael (Ryan Russell) had known about James' sexuality secret but kept it under wraps until he was ready to tell his father.

Ed found it difficult adjusting to his son's announcement leaving James upset by his reaction.

It appears that Aggie could be at the centre of new family drama after an upcoming struggle with a new job.

Next week, the Bailey clan will be delighted to celebrate Aggie's first day back in a nursing role.

She will also be shocked to become the centre of attention for another reason, as it's suggested the mum maybe hiding something.

It later turns out she has won the Weatherfield Golden Heart award after trying to save Robert Preston on Christmas Day.

The former Bistro owner was shot by Derek Milligan but passed away as Aggie's desperate attempted to save him failed.

Elsewhere, Ed decides to apologise to James next week in a bid to keep the peace with his family.

Angie reacts badly to the display of affection she she's left embraced by his husband's actions after he tries to hug her.

It it too late for Ed to make it up to his family?
