Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas delivers burgers in Rolls Royce

Ryan Thomas took meals on wheels to a whole new level of luxury as he delivered burgers in his flashy Rolls Royce.

The former Coronation Street star gave his brother Adam a helping hand on Monday night while visiting his sibling’s restaurant The Spinn.

While he may have popped in to grab a bite to eat himself, Ryan was eventually roped in to help with delivering takeaway burgers to Adam’s hungry customers.

‘I came in for a burger now I’m doing deliveries,’ Ryan told his Instagram followers.

He then filmed himself hopping in and out of his £285,000 vehicle and handing over a meal to one surprised customer.

Ryan then urged others to get involved with the chance to have a soap star deliver their food, adding: ‘I’m just waiting outside The Spinn to pick up my next delivery. Make the call, you know you want to.’

‘I might be coming to a home near you,’ he teased.

When he finally did get a minute to eat, Ryan chose to devour the burger in his car watching The Chase on the TV monitor instead of the comfort of his own house.

‘Couldn’t wait to get home plus no TV in the new house,’ he revealed.

Adam opened The Spinn with his best friend Scott Graham near Manchester. The pair decided to start delivering meals themselves last year to cut down on costs during the coronavirus pandemic.

Explaining their business move, Adam previously said: ‘All of our staff from our Chefs to our drivers…

‘ say drivers, it will be myself and my business partner Scott Graham will take the upmost care in handling your deliveries.’

He added: ‘As a team we don’t know what to say or do right now…as far as business is concerned we shall remain open until we are told not to do so…

‘In all honesty we can not afford to close, our overheads are high and we potentially wouldn’t survive what is sure to be a difficult time for everybody in all walks of life.’

Meanwhile, Ryan is clearly in a giving mood at the moment as he surprised his fiancee Lucy Mecklenburgh with a house which she hadn’t even seen.

The couple, who got engaged in 2019, now own an Edwardian house in Cheshire which they’ll share with their son Roman and Ryan’s daughter Scarlett.
