Coronation Street spoilers: Gary Windass quizzed by police over Underworld factory collapse as they try to prove he KNEW about roof danger

BUILDER Gary Windass is left shaken when he’s pulled in for questioning by the police over the devastating factory collapse in Coronation Street next week.

As the residents rally round and come to terms with the tragedy and the loss of a much-loved friend, Gary – along with factory bosses Nick Tilsley and Carla Connor – is left shaken when they discover they could be looking at a manslaughter charge if it’s proved they knew how dangerous the roof was.

Gary – played by Mikey North – is then called in to make a statement, but what will he say?

When he discusses his dilemma with fiancée Sarah Platt, she tells him that if he keeps about what he knew about the factory roof, they’re finished.

Later in the week Gary is left feeling unnerved when he finds the gate to the builder’s yard unlocked.

He’s feeling more upbeat when builders Jan and Anton call him and offer him some work on a new housing build.

He celebrates in the Rovers with Sarah – Tina O’Brien – but as they head home they’re shocked when they find Gary’s van has been broken into and all his tools have been stolen.

Who’s behind it?

Sarah is convinced scorned Seb Franklin is to blame for the vandalism and urges Gary to call the police on him but Gary refuses. Is he hiding something?

Meanwhile Seb is busy badmouthing Gary and Jan, insinuating they’re cowboy builders and are responsible for the factory collapse.

Last week Corrie fans were convinced that Seb – played by Harry Visioni – would be unmasked as the mystery person who sabotaged the roof to get back at Gary for firing him.
