Corrie fans will know that Ed and Michael are currently doing some construction work at the Bistro under the supervision of the new manager, Don.

This week’s episodes of Coronation Street will see Ray tell Ed that the new manager of the Bistro, Don, isn’t happy with Ed’s work. 

In the upcoming scenes, Michael gets stuck in helping Ed fix his mistakes at work, but they’re stunned when Don makes a racist comment.

When Don makes another one, Michael is confused when Ed just ignores it rather than challenging him. 

Next week’s episodes of Coronation Street will see the situation intensify as Don continues to make racist remarks to Ed and Michael. 

Michael’s has to bite his tongue as Don makes jibes at him and enjoys winding him up with more racist comments. 

Later, Michael rages at Don's behaviour, but Ed and Aggie insist that the best thing that Michael can do is turn a blind eye and avoid causing a scene. 

But will he listen or might he reach boiling point?
