Fiz Stape (played by Jennie McAlpine) and Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) have had a tough year as they dealt with the fallout of Jade Rowan’s (Lottie Henshall) arrival and explosive exit from Coronation Street. However, as the couple move forward with their lives, Fiz makes a shocking discovery that could throw her relationship into question.
The mum-of-one was horrified when Jade revealed she shared Hope’s (Isabella Flanagan) father, John Stape (Graeme Hawley).
Jade originally turned up on the ITV soap to help Hope with her education but her ulterior motive was soon exposed to viewers.
She blamed Fiz for her father’s murderous ways and was determined to turn Hope against her mother.
When her identity was exposed, Jade went to desperate measures and plotted to kidnap her half-sister.

However, Hope disappeared before Jade had a chance to put her plan into action and the search was on to try to find the little girl.
Hope was subsequently reunited with Fiz and Tyrone but not before the concerned mother assaulted Jade.
The sinister teacher vowed to keep secret about the attack if the couple allowed her to be a part of Hope’s life and they tentatively agreed.
But the drama wasn’t over just yet as Jade mistook Tyrone’s kindness for attraction and tried to kiss him.
The couple have been missing from the soap for a while but Fiz will return with a shocking realisation about their relationship.
In upcoming scenes, Fiz is horrified to find Tyrone asleep in front of the TV in his vest.
As she nags him to help around the house, Fiz realises they are turning into Jack (Bill Tarmey) and Vera Duckworth (Elizabeth Dawn).
The pair were one of Coronation Street’s most loved couples and became surrogate parents to Tyrone when he first arrived on the Street.

Could this revelation be a sign the couple will drift apart over the coming months and eventually go their separate ways?
In an attempt to break their routine, Tyrone suggests a romantic dinner but Fiz ends up accidentally inviting Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) and Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell).
While Chesney opens up to Fiz on his own relationship woes, she suggests they should do the same as her and Tyrone.
Chesney persuades Paul to babysit the quads and Gemma is over-the-moon at the idea of a romantic dinner.

Meanwhile, Tyrone begins to cook dinner for Fiz but their plans are interrupted when Chesney and Gemma burst in.
Chesney misinterpreted Fiz’s advice and believed she was offered an invitation to dinner.
The devastated couple head back home but Fiz and Tyrone chase after them and invite them to stay.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm.
