Coronation Street fans all say the same thing over Stephen Reid blunder

Coronation Street’s Stephen Reid (played by Todd Boyce) died in October but his character resurfaced on Monday’s episode of the ITV soap. His mother Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) was given his belongings after they were released by the police.
She was handed his laptop, diary, wallet and phone and asked his ex, Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) if she wanted to take anything. She decided to take his laptop, and the items brought everything back for a devastated Audrey.
However, fans tuned into the soap were quick to point out there weren’t many belongings. Several took to social media to question the blunder, asking where his other possessions are.
Taking to X, @teenamassam penned: “Stephen has much stuff left, where’s it all gone… #Corrie.”
@EnfieldGarry asked: “Is that Stephen’s stuff, he didn’t have much did he? #Corrie.”

@StuartBeckMP added: “Stephen has been dead for 2 months, what has taken so long? Did Craig get lost on his way home from the Police station? #Corrie.”
“They’ve only just got dear Stephen’s belongings. #Corrie,” @StuartYoung001 wrote.
Others joked about there being no hole punch, which Stephen used to kill one of his victims.

“Very disappointed that a hole punch wasn’t in between Stephen’s belongings #Corrie,” @itzzzo_ joked.
The items are set to reveal yet another secret of Stephen’s though.
With the laptop now in Jenny’s hands, she and Carla Connor (Alison King) are set to uncover yet another crime committed by Stephen.
Before he died, he stole a large portion of the money from the Underworld account.
Official spoilers have revealed that the pair will turn into detectives to uncover what Stephen’s last crimes were and if they can get their lives back.
In upcoming scenes, Jenny searches the files on Stephen’s laptop and finds the last one he edited on the day he died, entitled “Infinity Seagull Ventures”.
Jenny and Carla head to the police station but DS Swain (Vicky Myers)explains that they don’t have the resources to try and crack the password on the file.
Later, Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) calls in the Kabin clutching the notebook and explains to Carla and Jenny that it’s Stephen’s journal.
Carla and Jenny realise it could hold the key to Stephen’s passwords, but will Audrey be able to part ways with the only thing she has left of her son?
