'Cool dad' Peter Andre mocked by son Junior as he attempts to rap in a hoodie

"COOL dad" Peter Andre was mocked by 14-year-old son Junior after he attempted to rap in a hoodie.

The 46-year-old star was filmed by the teen as he desperately tried to be "down with the mandem" on social media.

In the clip, which Junior posted to his Instagram page, Peter can be seen with his head down as he leans against the kitchen counter, bobbing to the beat.

"Yeah, yeah", he mutters, before checking with his son what hand gesture he is supposed to do, asking: "I'm throwing it up, yeah?"

As the lyrics start he attempts to do the move, with Junior criticising his performance.

He complains: "You threw it up again, you did.

"How is that cool? You're mean to throw it up, do it again."

When Peter attempted the move again, the video cut off just as Junior exclaimed: "What are you doing? Oh my God."

He captioned the post: "He really wants to be down wit the mandem. Not wit them moves. Not a chance".

While Peter's oldest child might not think that he is cool, several of his followers did – flocking to the comments to heap praise on the Mysterious Girl hitmaker.

One wrote: "Cool dad" alongside the thumbs up emoji.

Another added: "What do you mean? Those moves are amazing!"

A third commented: "Your dad is the coolest! Leave him alone!"

The video comes one day after it was reported that Peter had reached out to his bankrupt ex-wife Katie Price, reassuring her that she didn't need to worry about financially supporting their children, Junior and 12-year-old Princess.

The star, who also has two children with wife Emily, "doesn't want to see the mother of his kids suffer" – with the former glamour model worrying about the heating and electricity being switched off in her mucky mansion.

Peter and Katie were married between 2005 and 2009 after they met on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, and new! magazine report that he called her after she was officially declared bankrupt last week.

Peter is said to have reassured Katie that "he's happy to look after Junior and Princess financially" and that she doesn't need to worry about them at all during this difficult time.

Despite his kind offer, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker "made it clear" that he won't be providing Katie with money directly as he fears that she will go "off the rails" with partying.

The Sun’s Dan Wootton previously revealed that the reality star BLAMED Peter for her financial downfall in an astonishing rant on a packed commuter train.

She told passengers: "He’s the worst person ever" in the shocking tirade.

The Sun Online also revealed that Katie has told both Peter and her other ex-husband Kieran Hayler to pay up, claiming she had spent £2million on them.

An insider told us: "She's told both of them that she expects some cash from them as she bankrolled them for years when they were married.

"She was always the money-earner, while they enjoyed her millions."
