Celine Dion, Idina Menzel, and NCT 127 to Perform at the 2019 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has been a turkey day tradition for almost a century. The iconic department store staged its first parade in 1924 (though the famous balloons didn’t arrive until 1927). It’s been going strong ever since, aside from a brief hiatus during World War II.
This year, 30 balloons, dozens of floats, and close to 20 marching bans and performance groups will cover the parade’s 2½-mile route through Manhattan. Also on hand will be a range of famous faces, from a Grammy-winning singer to one of the stars of Frozen 2.
