Celebs Go Dating fans cringe as 'jealous' Sophie Hermann panics after Tom Zanetti returns from date with make-up on face

CELEBS Go Dating fans were left cringing this evening after "jealous" Sophie Hermann panicked when Tom Zanetti returned for a date with make-up on his face.

The scene went from bad to worse when the 31-year-old hunk mistook a cake that 34-year-old Sophie had made as his date Briony's birthday treat.

Tom had gone on a yoga date with Briony, and had remained on his best behaviour after realising he actually has feelings for fellow celeb Sophie.

But she was concerned when the pair returned to the mansion, immediately questioning why he had a smear of make-up on his cheek.

Spotting her crush, Sophie ran over to hug him before gasping: "Oh my god, what's on your face?

"Oh my god, I think you should dash into the bathroom."

She then went to Chloe Ferry for a gossip, saying: "Have you seen Zanetti's face? It's like he made out with a Cheeto."

Pulling Tom to a mirror nearby, Sophie pulled a face as she asked: "Did you make out with a Cheeto? You're literally orange.

"Look at that, ew."

Tom then spotted the cake Sophie and her date had made together, gushing: "This looks nice, please tell me this is Briony's birthday cake!"

Sophie's face dropped as she sternly replied: "It's my cake."

Viewers at home found the beauty's jealous reaction hilarious, and flocked to Twitter to share their reaction.

One fan wrote: "Oh wow Sophie calm down YES HE HAS SOME FOUNDATION ON HIS FACE GET OVER IT."

Another agreed: "The Duchess is getting very jealous."

A third tweeted: "Sophie craving Tom’s attention…"

One more posted a string of crying with laughter emojis as they mocked: "It's my CAKE."

Another giggled: "Calm down, Sophie."

Later in the show, Sophie and Tom had a heart to heart where she directly asked the hunk if he'd kissed Briony, he insisted that he hadn't and the foundation was a result of them kissing on the cheek.

The celebrity contestants aren't supposed to hook up with each other on the dating show, but Paul Brunson and Anna Williamson encouraged the pair to investigate their feelings and go on a date together after picking up on their sizzling chemistry.

And it's fair to say that things have only gone from strength to strength, with The Sun revealing yesterday that the pair appeared to break lockdown rules to spend Valentine's Day with each other – and ended up in bed together.

The couple accidentally let the cat out of the bag with a series of cryptic Instagram videos – including Sophie's hand covering Tom's mouth as he lay topless in bed.

Currently, the DJ lives in Leeds while Sophie is based in West London -which suggests the pair broke lockdown rules by commuting nearly 220miles to be together on the romantic date.
