Casualty spoilers: Jade shaken by the return of her mum and Stevie kicks off brutal revenge plan

JADE is the focus on Casualty this week as viewers see her shaken by the return of her mum.

The nurse (played by Gabriella Leon) also has to deal with the repercussions of Stevie's brutal revenge plan.

Sophie Stone returns in the role of Jade's forever absent mother, Susie, who she comes across while attending the scene of a minibus crash.

Jade is asked to interpret for the patients in the vehicle, but is left reeling when she discovers her birth mother is one of them.

The pair have not been in contact since viewers of the BBC medical soap saw them reunited in Jade's special episode last year, focusing on her challenges as a deaf nurse.

Realising her mum has escaped the accident relatively unscathed, Jade can't help but berate her for abandoning her once again.

After her outburst Jade is in a foul mood and walks away from a patient, Mrs Coles, the leader of the minibus group.

Not only that, she responds aggressively to a request from her – right in front of Charlie.

Charlie's attempt to talk to Jade about the incident is halted as Dylan calls Jade for a routine locker search.

Charlie, who has been on the warpath since learning about Jade's involvement in her sister's accident, sees an opportunity to exact her revenge and plants a bag of drugs in Jade's locker.

As Jade tries to clear her name, guilt starts to creep in for Charlie as she and Dylan tell Jade about the procedures which must now be followed.

With her career on the line Jade desperately tries to contact Jacob for help, but he ignores her frantic calls.

REVENGE PLOT

He's not coping after being attacked by Tina and hasn't been at work since, hiding away at home.

Left to deal with the situation alone, Jade is forced to re-evaluate her future at the emergency department.

During a moment with Ethan she offers him some advice, drawing in from her own experience with Susie.

She urges him not to give into his grief for Bodhi's sake – and his own.

Jade tells him that his son will never recover from being rejected as a young child – just as she has struggled and that it's defined her whole life.

The conversation leads Ethan to decide to reach out to Fenisha's parents, signally he may have had a change of heart.

HONEST ADVICE

Things go from bad to worse for Jade as Charlie reveals she's to be suspended while an investigation is launched into the drug find.

At this point Susie steps up to fight for Jade and passionately speaks of her belief in her daughter.

Making it clear she wants to be her mum and start their relationship again, a tearful Jade is clearly overwhelmed.

She announces to Charlie that she's made a major decision – but what exactly is it?

Scenes set to air on Casualty, Saturday, September 18 on BBC One.
