Carol Vorderman scolds Piers Morgan after he makes cheeky comments about her online adult-only maths classes – The Sun

The 59-year-old star appeared on Good Morning Britain to reveal how she is doing her bit for the people during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The former Countdown favourite revealed she was going to launch a "maths school for grown ups" on YouTube next week.

Piers suggestively asked: "Now you're talking, are you going to wear a mathematical uniform for this?

"One of the ones adults might enjoy, you know Carol?"

Keeping her composure, Carol quipped later in the chat: "I'll tell you what I am not going to do, Piers, which is probably what you would like me to do, it's teach you how to write 'boobs' on a calculator."

Piers continued to be cheeky, replying that he will still "definitely" be tuning in to Carol's classes.

The brainbox was on the show to discuss her maths tutorial website for children, The Maths Factor, which has lifted its paywall while children are off school.

She told Piers and his co-host Lorraine Kelly: "We have made it free for all children in primary school for as long as it takes, until they can go back to school.

"This isn't 'What can you do on a rainy Sunday afternoon?', this is six months without education.

"With all the books and things I have ever done, this is the thing that I am the most proud of – just doing four sessions with Auntie Carol a week, that takes about 15 minutes, a child will advance two and a half years in one year."

Last week, Prime Minister Boris Johnson ruled that all schools will close as of Friday [20th March] as the UK government battle to get a grip on the deadly virus that has been sweeping the globe.

Yesterday evening, the PM put all of the UK on lockdown – banning Brits from leaving their house other than when it is absolutely necessary.

The decision came as the UK's death toll raised to 335, including an 18-year-old boy.
