Carol McGiffin admits she was 'still drunk' when she arrived at Loose Women after partying for an entire WEEK

The 58-year-old revealed she had been boozing for over a week and was starting to feel the effects.

Speaking on today’s show, she said: “I think I was still drunk.

“I have been out every night for over week now and almost every day.

“I had to have hair of the dog when I came in.”

She went on to reveal that it actually only takes a glass-and-a-half of wine before she’s drunk.

“I am not a heavy drinker, I am a cheap date,” she said.

The panel went on to discuss whether they were ready for Christmas and Carol revealed she never gets people presents.

She joked: “I have made my presents for everyone – it’s presence! I just go and see them.”

Her husband Mark doesn’t even get a gift, with her saying:  “He doesn’t need anything or want anything. We are going on holiday soon and that’s our present.”
