Callum trapped by evil Thompson as he faces prison in EastEnders

Callum Highway (Tony Clay) has been left trapped by conniving detective DI Thompson in EastEnders after he discovered that he had been breaking the law by spying on Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).

Thompson has been controlling Callum to try and get intel to bring down Phil – in exchange for Ben (Max Bowden) not being jailed for the warehouse job.

However, Callum had been under the belief that he had legitimately been working undercover; clueless that Thompson was corrupt enough to be doing all of this off his own back.

When Thompson got him to wear a wire, Callum was uncomfortable and when he spent time with Phil and was complimented that he is good for the family, Callum was swayed.

But Thompson turned the tables, revealing that only he and Callum know about this ‘project’ – and if anyone found out, both Callum and Ben will be heading to prison.

With Thompson holding all of the cards, will Callum betray Phil – or come clean and seek his help to deal with the situation?
