Call The Midwife spoiler: ‘Who told you that?!’ Phillip Schofield drops HUGE leak

Funny actress Miriam joined This Morning’s hosts to talk about her latest drama however, at one one point, she hit out Phillip after he revealed a huge leak to the show. 

The actress came on the show to as she talked about joining the cast of Call The Midwife for the Christmas special. 

She plays Mother Mildred in Nonnatus House which looks at midwifery in Britain up until 1967.

However, Phillip let slip a huge leak about the details of the show which have been kept under wraps. 

After Miriam mentioned that the series will come out on Christmas day, Philip said: “The one shot in the outer hebrides?”

“How did you know? How do you no know?” Miriam asked with surprise.

Philip responded: “I think you may have told us earlier” as Miriam agreed with him.

Miriam discussed her relationship with her son on her new play, Sydney & the Old Girl but when Phillip suggested that “deep down they really love each other”, Miriam hit back: “No they don’t How do you know?”

The comical actress explained how she plays an angry mother in the play who constantly argues with her son. 

Trying to make sense of the relationship, Phillip expressed his opinion and said: “Deep down they hate each other but deep down they love each other.”

“No they don’t! No they …how do you know, you ain’t seen it yet?” she demanded answers from the surprised host. 

Laughing at Miriam’s reaction, Phillip said: “I’ve read the synopsis.”

“You can eat that but you can’t read it,” she humorously responded before adding her opinion. 

On a serious note, she said: “I don’t think they do love each other. It’s one of those relationships…where you could be with somebody for years and years and you end up hating.” 

The actress praised the writer of the play, Eugene O’Hare. 

She described him as “gorgeous” before informing Phil and Holly that “he’s an actor as well as a writer.”

As his picture was shown on the screen, Miriam joked: “Look at that! Look, I’m a lesbian and I think he’s gorgeous”.

“I think he’s gorgeous, I really do. And he’s so talented and so generous and lovely – we’re very lucky.”

Her hilarious remark left Phillip and Holly in giggles as she complimented the writer of her new play. 

Fans also gave a warm response to Miriam.
