Britain’s Got Talent viewers are in tears after David Walliams hits his golden buzzer for incredible Sign Along With Us – The Sun
BRITAIN'S Got Talent viewers were reduced to tears tonight as David Walliams his golden buzzer for the incredible Sign Along With Us.
The 65-strong choir sang and signed The Greatest Showman’s This is Me and moved the audience, judges and Ant and Dec to tears.
The choir was formed by Jade, 18, after she started a class for her brother Christian, four, who has trouble communicating.
There was a familiar face in the choir as Pride Of Britain winner Ella Chadwick sang in front of Simon Cowell, who gave her a warm hug afterwards and told her he would never forget her.
The choir, whose ages range from four to 58, performed in bright T-shirts bringing plenty of colour to the stage.
As David hit his buzzer and golden confetti filled the stage, the choir cheered, hugged each other and cried.
It was a powerful moment that made host Ant McPartlin teary.
Viewers were equally as moved with one writing on Twitter: "I’m not crying. You’re crying. #bgt #BritainsGotTalent #thisisme"
Another posted: "Honestly I’m in bits#BritainsGotTalent"
As a third shared: "That was so beautiful. The perfect song. What an inspirational group of people. That performance really moved me. #BGT #BritainsGotTalent"
David took to the stage to hug and greet members of the choir as their audience remained on their feet.
Meanwhile Amanda Holden said: "That song is such an anthem for people who maybe don't feel part of the world.
"I just found it really really moving. It was absolutely brilliant."
Alesha told the choir: "I genuinely can't find the words. And Christian you are an absolute little star. Thank you."
While Simon called it "an audition I will never ever forget."
As David said: "Every one of you gave everything to his performance. An amazing positive message to put out there."
