Britain's Got Talent magician Matt Sterling stuns Lorraine with incredible card trick as he opens up about movie fame

BRITAIN's Got Talent magician Matt Sterling left Lorraine Kelly stunned with an incredible card trick on her show today.

The Loraine host was in shock when Matt presented her with her card in a sealed envelope – after she plucked it from the pack.

Talented Matt refused to reveal the secrets behind his  magic tricks on the ITV show today after he thrilled viewers when he auditioned for BGT on Saturday night.

Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams were on the edge of their seats when a man ran across the stage on fire in one mind-blowing trick – but they aren't the first famous people he's performed his magic on.

Matt has appeared in multiple Star Wars films, four Harry Potter movies, Bond film Spectre, several episodes of Game Of Thrones and Kingsman.

He opened up about his exciting job as a movie stuntman to Lorraine and said he performs his tricks on set during filming scenes.

Matt, whose IMBD page boasts more  than 90 TV and film projects since 2002, said: "Literally you get a phone call, they ask where are you, what are you doing, are you free and off you go."

Photos then flashed up from his time on set and he's seen in the midst of a fight sequence with Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock.

Matt remarked: "He's choking me out big time there, but I let him win for that one."

The magician said he'd love to work on the upcoming James Bond 25 film given his previous experience, and added Star Wars "was great".

Lorraine told viewers that there is "a lot of waiting around" on movie sets and asked if Matt uses his tricks to help the time pass.

He replied: "I do them on set. I hypnotised someone before, I have a laugh with it.

"When we did Harry Potter I hypnotised a man so he took complete control over the whole film. The director was there at the time and he said what's your job?

Going on BGT, Matt's unique selling point is he is the ONLY professional magician who is also a stunt performer in the UK.

Viewers loved his performance on Saturday night and one said: "Looking forward to seeing Matt Stirling showing us what other tricks he's got hidden up his sleeve. He's a fantastic fall guy."
