Brit winner George Ezra finally goes public with long-term girlfriend Florrie Arnold at the 2019 Awards

The Shotgun singer finally went public with his long-term girlfriend, who I can reveal  is Bristol-born  singer Florrie.

They were seen kissing at the bash at London’s O2 Arena after he defeated Sam Smith, Craig David and Giggs to take home the gong.

A source close to the star said: “George and Florrie have always been determined to keep their relationship under wraps ever since they first started dating a couple of years ago.

“But the Brits were one of the biggest moments in George’s career so Florrie didn’t want to miss it.

“Even though they decided not to make a red carpet appearance as a couple, they spent the rest of the evening together.

“They were sat next to each other at the ceremony where they kissed and cuddled. They are cute together.”

Rising star Florrie — real name Florence  Arnold — can be found singing a cover  of George’s hit track Budapest on YouTube.

She has worked with Mollie King and Girls Aloud and also provided backing vocals and drums on George’s tune Paradise.

Last year, George — whose second album Staying At Tamara’s was the best-selling British album of 2018 —  admitted for the first time that he was in a relationship.

He said: “Three or four months before the last record was wrapped up, I met my now-girlfriend.

“The timing was brilliant because we actually got to spend time together and go on a few dates.”

George, below with Florrie,  also revealed his song Sugarcoat is about  a trip the couple took through South Africa, and Paradise is about  the early days of their relationship. George will be back at the O2 Arena next month as part of his first headline arena tour.

Anne-Marie pleads quilty

ANNE-MARIE did not trudge home to bed  after losing out at the awards – instead, she just changed into her bedding.

After arriving at the Chiltern Firehouse after-party in a frothy white creation, she  swapped it for  this rather cumbersome duvet-inspired look.

Meanwhile Maya Jama slipped into a spotty mini-dress. Clean Bandit’s Grace Chatto wore a floral top and bottoms and was a hit on the dancefloor until late into the night.

Earlier on she admitted the group was disappointed about never being invited to perform, despite getting eight nominations over the years.Grace said: “I would love to play at the Brits – I feel so left out.

“Every year we want to perform and every year we are all here. Every single year. So it would be perfect. Maybe they’ll ask us next year.”

In all fairness, it’s long overdue.

FORMER footie star Marlon Harewood had a fan-girl moment when he saw Little Mix at Sony’s after-party. The one-time West Ham ace made a beeline for Jesy Nelson just as she was leaving and begged for a selfie.

SILLY LILLY’S STROP

The singer, right, had a face like thunder backstage and was scowling at her team  after Jorja Smith won.

A source said: “Lily was miffed about missing out on a Brit and was snapping at her entourage and complaining to pals.”

Naomi away – so ladykiller Liam's at play

HE may have a supermodel girlfriend, but it didn’t stop Liam Payne lapping up female attention at his record label’s after-party.

The singer, who is dating cougar Naomi Campbell spent the evening holding court with a group of  scantily clad women by his table at swanky London hotel The Ned.

The One Direction singer was especially taken with one brunette and they spent almost 30 minutes in deep conversation until Nick Grimshaw came over for a photo.

An onlooker said: “Liam was lapping up being the centre of attention with a gaggle of women in tight, sexy outfits.

“He was spoilt for choice and looked like he was loving every second of it.”

Naomi, who missed the bash due to work  in the US, famously likes to keep her men on a tight leash, so I expect Liam, left, will be in the doghouse when they next see each other. He was certainly having a lot more fun than a  year ago, when he put  on an awkward display with then-partner Cheryl Tweedy at the same event, where he tried (and failed) to convince everyone that all was well with them as a couple.

They announced their split five months later.

Perhaps he’ll have better luck with Naomi.

STORMZY, Maverick Sabre and Krept & Konan partied into the night at the Beats By  Dr Dre  & Since 93 Brits after-party with Ciroc vodka. Rapper Giggs played a live set before Zane Lowe and DJ Spoony hit the decks.

Who's who at the do

LOADS of the Brit Award nominees, presenters and performers posed for photos backstage – which were edited into this incredible wide snap.

A few animated characters even managed to sneak into the shot. Photographer Gavin Bond curated the image, which  will appear in the May issue of British GQ magazine.

They are, from left in the two snaps: Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris, Pink,  host Jack Whitehall, Shawn Mendes, Sam Smith, Little Mix, Liam Payne, Jorja Smith, Gorillaz’ Noodle  and 2-D, Jess Glynne, George  Ezra, Lily Allen, Rag’n’Bone Man, The 1975, First Aid Kit, Tom Walker, Clean Bandit’s Grace Chatto, Idles, Years & Years, H.E.R., Bastille’s Dan Smith, Gorillaz’ Russel Hobbs, Bros, Christine And The Queens and Gorillaz’ Murdoc Niccals.

BIZ METER CANERS

THERE was  no stopping LAURA WHITMORE having a good time – though  one DJ did  his best. After boozing through the night, Laura asked for a song at the Warner after-party, only for him to flip the bird at her.  She had boyfriend Iain Stirling to lean on, though – and she certainly did that.

JESS GLYNNE postponed a charity gig on Monday due to illness but she was right as rain by Brits night. Despite not landing  a gong, she was  up for celebrating her performance later on and was heard asking pals  at 3.30am where they were going next  as  she didn’t  the night to end.

PINK won the Outstanding Contribution To Music award, then put in a fairly impressive contribution to partying, too. She stayed at Sony’s bash until gone 2am, dancing with pals. But one guest was left a  bit soggy after she went past them, causing a drinks spillage.

BY the time the ceremony at London’s O2 Arena  had ended, NAUGHTY BOY had made a new pal in Gemma Collins. The music producer, who’d clearly had a few during the show, ended up in  a cab with Gemma and joined her and James Argent for a late curry.

MEL C was the surprise DJ at Universal’s party, showing off her crazy dance moves behind  the decks. Ahead of this summer’s  Spice Girls reunion, she opened with Who Do You Think You Are and closed the set with Wannabe.
