Bob Odenkirk 'awake' in hospital after collapsing unconscious from 'heart-related' emergency on Better Call Saul set

BOB Odenkirk is "awake" after collapsing unconscious due to a "heart-related" medical emergency.

His son, Nate, gave fans an update on Bob's health in a Twitter post on Wednesday, writing: "He's going to be okay."


The actor was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday after collapsing on set of Better Call Saul.

According to TMZ, Bob was hospitalized for a "heart-related incident."

Sources told the outlet that Bob, 58, was "touch-and-go for the last day," thought it looks like he's now out of the woods and is in stable condition.

According to TMZ, the Breaking Bad alum is awake inside an Albuquerque hospital and is on the rebound.

However, it did not look good when he was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday.

Sources said Bob was not conscious during his first few hours in the hospital, though he is currently lucid.

Bob's rep told TMZ: "Bob and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side."

The spokesperson continued: "The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery."

BOB'S COLLAPSE ON SET

On Tuesday, it was reported that the actor had collapsed on set of the AMC show.

Production sources told TMZ that the cast and crew were shooting on the Sony Lot when Bob collapsed.

Quickly after Bob went down, he was surrounded by crew members who called an ambulance to get the star help.

Additionally, law enforcement told the outlet they received a call to the studio lot at 11:34 AM for a medical emergency.

At the time, it was not clear if Bob was conscious when he was transported to the hospital.

The actor is best known for playing attorney Saul Goodman on Breaking Bad, which aired on AMC from 2008-2013.

Bob went on to receive his own spinoff with Better Call Saul, which premiered on the network in 2015.

The popular series is currently shooting its sixth and final season.
