'Big Brother 23' Week 11: Who Are the Nominees, and Who Is the Target?

[SPOILER ALERT: Spoilers ahead for Big Brother 23 Week 11 Head of Household and nominations.]

The historic Cookout navigated the first Double Eviction expertly, becoming the first alliance to advance its members to the end. Additionally, they guaranteed the original series of the show would see its first Black winner. However, they had to disband during the final DE, leaving the remaining four to battle it out for their spot in the final three. Xavier Prather won Head of Household; who did he nominate?

Hannah Chaddha and Tiffany Mitchell went out during the second Double Eviction

After The Cookout made it to the final six, Kyland Young won Head of Household, forcing him to take the shot first at the group.

Involved in a final three alliance with the other two guys and another with Tiffany Mitchell and Hannah Chaddha, he had to choose a side.

Ultimately, he decided he wanted to compete with whom he perceived as the best, choosing to side with Xavier. The HOH put the ladies on the block alongside each other and won the Power of Veto, securing his nominations. Perceiving Tiffany as the biggest threat, she unanimously joined the jury.

The remaining five houseguests immediately underwent their second Double Eviction, starting with Azah Awasum becoming HOH. Staying loyal to Xavier and her best friend in the house, Derek “Big D” Frazier, she targeted Hannah, who followed Tiffany to the jury house.

Xavier Prather nominated Azah Awasum and Kyland Young

After eliminating two former Cookout members, the four went on to battle for HOH, guaranteeing their spot in the final three.

Xavier, who has thrown competitions throughout the season to hide his physical prowess, won, believing it would put him in a better position to win.

Aligned with everyone remaining in the house, including an unspoken one with Azah, the HOH claimed he intended only to honor his deal with Big D as they made it on Day 18. Additionally, Xavier wanted his final two partner to “get the blood on his hands” and send Kyland out if he had the chance.

However, it comes down to the POV winner as they hold the sole power to evict. Therefore, Xavier put Azah, who has avoided the block all season, up next to Kyland for eviction.

He wouldn’t mind Kyland leaving this week

The HOH doesn’t necessarily have a target as he only intends on keeping Big D safe this week. If things went his way, his final two ally or Azah would win the POV and cast the sole vote to evict Kyland.

The move would get rid of his biggest competition threat but in a way where Kyland would vote for him as they have a final two alliance.

If Kyland won safety, he would probably evict Azah over Big D as he has had a pact with the other Cookout guys for several weeks. Xavier will most likely throw the POV as he probably won’t want to put himself in a position to show his cards by sending out Kyland or Azah, likely losing their jury vote.

The most critical POV competition of the season airs on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 10/9 Central on CBS.
