Big Bang Theory: Hidden meaning behind actor Johnny Galecki’s tattoos revealed
While Leonard Hofstadter (played by Johnny Galecki) wasn’t particularly known for going under the needle for tattoos, the Big Bang Theory actor behind him is quite partial to a bit of ink. Along with girlfriend Alaina Meyer, 22, Galecki, 44, often shows off his designs on Instagram and during red carpet appearances.
It is one tattoo in particular, however, which caught the attention of Big Bang fans.
Once Galecki went official with his relationship to Meyer, the pair became regular features on each other’s social media pages.
Meyer would often share snaps of the pair’s budding romance and day trips away together.
During a trip on September 2, 2018, Meyer shared a series of snaps including a sweet tattoo on Galecki’s hand.

Meyer captioned the series of snaps: “Gone country and branded by babe.”
In one of the pictures was Galecki’s hand holding onto her arm.
Etched on his hand is the letters “AMM” with a love heart underneath.
The adorable ink is in dedication to his girlfriend as “AMM” are her initials.
Meyer reciprocate the affection as she had a tattoo dedicated to Galecki also inked on her arm.
The letters “JG” were written in bold capitals on her arm.
Underneath the initials is tiny black skull to complete the design.
Galecki also has a tattoo of an anchor on the inside of left wrist.
Sadly, it appears the inking of each other’s initial was only done in temporary form.
Both Galecki and Meyer have made a number of red carpet appearances together since the Instagram snap and neither appear to still have the designs.
Never the less, it was still a sweet touch from the duo to show each other how much they meant to one another.
Their relationship has gone leaps and bounds since going public in 2018 as they’re now expecting their first child together.
Galecki broke the news with an adorable statement on May 3, 2019.
