BBC News viewers call out major blunder in Reeta Chakrabarti's intro – but did you spot it? | The Sun

BBC viewers were left scratching their heads last night amid a major blunder on the News at 10.

Anchor Reeta Chakrabarti greeted viewers as usual for the flagship bulletin – but something was not right with the graphics.

Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to point out a massive number six lurking in the backdrop instead of a ten for the 10 o'clock news.

The mishap featured throughout the opening of the show and carried on to the first bulletin on Boris Johnson's resignation.

Regardless of the error, Reeta continued on as usual.

But the mistake was quickly picked up on social media, with one Twitter user joking: "BBC News at 6 at 10."

While another fumed: "These basic mistakes are frustrating."

It comes just a day after viewers noticed a raft of glaring typos in the weather report – with 's's' missing from major UK cities.

Among the clangers were 'Newcatle', 'Belfat' and 'Glagow'.

To add insult to injury, Belfast was spelt wrong not once, but twice, on the weather map and temperature forecast.
