Ant and Dec plan stomach-churning trials for I'm A Celebrity 2021 contestants in new show trailer

I’M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here is returning in 2021 and will be back in Wales for a second season running.

The celebrities will face disgusting and terrifying challenges at Gwrych Castle, in North Wales after Covid prevented the ITV series from returning to Australia.

In a first-look at the series, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly headed to the rolling hills of Wales to come up with new trials for the contestants.

The launch of the promos sees Ant & Dec dressed as two knights riding in on their trusty steeds – or in Ant's case, a small pony.

He's not happy about his transportation telling his co-host, "I think we've got the wrong horses," but Declan looks off into the distance replying, "I don't know what you mean."

As they set off on their horses, the voice over says, "they would scour the lands in search of ingenious trials."

It then cuts to the Geordie lads sitting by a fire in the middle of the woods, with their washing hung up on lines around them.

Ant mused: "What's worse than eating a pig's testicle?"

Declan thought for a moment before replying: "Eating two pig's testicles!"

Very happy with their ideas, Ant enthusiastically writes it down with a quill as we next see them standing in front of a war strategy table complete with steel soldiers.

Ant moves one forward, as Dec pushes a group of crudely carved wooden 'celebs' in the soldier's path.

The lads are next atGwrych Castle where they are hoisting up the Welsh flag onto the castle.

"Here it shall be more gruelling than ever," the trailer promises ominously.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! will start on ITV and ITV Hub in November with a number of high profile names already signed up.

Eastenders' will join the likes of Arlene Phillips, Richard Madeley and Frankie Bridge.

ITV have confirmed I'm A Celebrity will once again be filmed in Wales at Gwrych Castle.

The show has typically filmed in Australia’s New South Wales, with the celebrities camping out around Springbrook National Park near Murwillumbah.

This was changed to Wales in 2020, due to restrictions in place across the world because of Covid.

ITV then did a U-turn on returning to Oz for 2021 after fears the country could shut its borders because of the ongoing pandemic.

The Sun exclusively revealed that I'm A Celebrity big wigs are considering hosting alternate years between the Australian jungle and the Welsh castle.
