Amy Adams, Paris Jackson, Adriana Lima and Sarah Paulson look ready for bed as they leave Oscars 2019 parties and head home

Some of the stars – such as Paris and actress Malin Akerman – ditched their shoes to make it easier for them to walk to their cars.

Amy wowed in a plunging turquoise gown – but she looked keen to change into something a little more comfy at the end of the evening.

Paris kept it together as she made her way to her waiting car, but she walked barefoot – so was clearly keen to ditch her stilettos.

Rita looked like she'd had enough when it came to home time, as did Sarah Paulson, who also took her shoes off before getting in the car.

The celeb bash saw the biggest names in Hollywood gather together at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills following the main event.

It followed a dramatic night at the awards do,  where Olivia Colman broke down in tears after winning Best Actress for The Favourite.

Rami Malek ‘fell off the stage’ and had to be treated by medics following his Best Actor win for Bohemian Rhapsody, while A Star Is Born actors Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper set tongues wagging as they ‘almost kissed’ during a steamy duet.

It was a bit of surprise twist for the British actress who beat her idol Glenn Close to the coveted prize.

Taking to the stage, she said: "It's genuinely quite stressful.

"This is hilarious. I've got an Oscar. I have to thank lots of people.

"If I forget you I'm going to find you later and give you a massive snog.

"Emma [Stone] and Rachel [Weisz] are the two loveliest girls in the world to fall in love with.

"Glenn Close you've been my idol for so long. This isn't how I wanted it to be.

"My kids are watching at home. I hope they are this isn't going to happen again.

"My husband Ed, my best friend, I love you so much."
