All the Intel on the Nemacolin Resort, Where Matt James’ Season of 'The Bachelor’ Is Filmed
If you, like many in Bachelor Nation, want to stay in Bachelor Mansion without forking over the 😐 $6,000 price tag to rent Bachelor Mansion on Airbnb, may I draw your attention to the latest and greatest property star in the franchise: Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. The Pennsylvania property is the current site of Matt James’ season of The Bachelor, and it’s impressive design and gorgeous rooms are already stealing scenes after a single episode.
The resort is nestled in the Allegheny Mountains outside Pittsburgh, and good news! It’s open to guests. Here’s what you should know about Nemacolin before you book a room and live out your Bachelor fantasies.
It’s ENORMOUS.

Sorry to any contestants who wanted to regularly see the lion cubs, but Matt James’ season was specifically isolated to part of the property called Arden Estates.

Nemacolin as a whole has 320 bedrooms to offer on any given night, but only 22 of them make up the Arden Estates hotel. Judging from this fancy video showcasing it though, the Bachelor crew can surely make do with the romantic gazebo, bonfire, and hot tubs (plural).

Nemacolin has been camera-ready for years now.
While this is the first time The Bachelor has fully set up camp at Nemacolin, the franchise is hardly a stranger to the resort’s charms. Just a few months ago, Peter Weber and his (now ex) girlfriend Kelley Flanagan enjoyed a happier getaway before they broke things off.
And, as O, The Oprah Magazine astutely notes, Nemacolin’s relationship to The Bachelor‘s world isn’t limited to alumna. In fact, the resort played a part in one of the most infamous show moments ever when JoJo Fletcher eliminated season villain Chad Johnson in the woods on the property. The more you know!

It only takes a quick glance at the grounds to understand why a major golf tournament might want to set up shop at Nemacolin:
You can rent a room there…for a price.
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is currently open with precautions in place to help stop the spread of COVID-19. A room will set you back at least $300-400, but hey, at least it’s not $6K!
They also host events, including weddings if you’re on the hunt for a venue. Someone should tell Matt James…you know. Just in case.
