Adele Sang Her Hit Songs in 'Bachelor' Skit While Hosting 'SNL'

And the rose goes to… not Adele. Adele hosted a much-anticipated Saturday Night Live episode on Oct. 24. Viewers were disappointed after finding out she wouldn’t be the musical guest as well, but guess what! We still got to hear her sing hits like “Someone Like You,” “Hello,” and “When We Were Young.”

The skit aptly titled The Bachelor showed Adele as a contestant on the spoof of ABC’s reality dating show. Except, Adele couldn’t stop breaking into song and interrupting the other “contestants” when they were with the lead, Ben K.

“Hi I’m Adele Adkins, I’m 32. You may know me as the singer Adele,” she said at the beginning of the sketch. “I’m here because I’ve had a lot of heartbreak in my life. First at 19, and then sort of famously at 21. And then even more famously at 25,” she added, referencing her albums. “But I have a really good feeling about Ben K. It’s only night one but I could already tell he’s the love of my life.”

After interrupting multiple women’s time with Ben K., she did a little self-reflecting in her confessional interview. “Night 1 has been a smash but I get the feeling I might be coming on a bit strong,” she admitted. “I think Ben K. likes that laidback American vibe so the rest of the night I’ve decided to play it chill and cool.”

However, that didn’t last long and she ended up reprising “Someone Like You,” before ending the sketch with the line: “Thank you everyone, catch me next week on Love Island.”

If only.
