Adele posts hilarious meme about herself as she breaks silence for first time since divorce plans

ADELE has posted a hilarious meme about herself after revealing she's divorcing her husband Simon Konecki.

The couple announced their split after three years of marriage last month, but the 30-year-old has clearly managed to retain her sense of humour despite the woes in her personal life.

Taking to Instagram, Adele shared a meme of herself crying alongside another picture of her giving the camera plenty of sass.

The quote above it read: "When you catch yourself in your feelings then you remember who you are."

Fans immediately commented on the meme, begging the star to release new music.

One wrote: "Just come back, I need you. I love you."

Another added: "QUEEN WE LOVE U" while a third posted: "This new album bouta to be [fire emoji]".

Adele and charity boss Simon, 45, have six-year-old son Angelo together, having first started dating in 2012.

The star’s spokesman confirmed the news of the split last month, saying: “Adele and her partner have separated.

“They are committed to raising their son together lovingly.

“As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”

The statement comes after recent talk that the pair were living separate lives.

A source told The Sun: “This is a very sad situation – Adele and Simon had been living separate lives for some time.

“It was well known amongst their friends that this time they simply were not going to sort it out.

“They had been trying for years but eventually you have to accept that something just isn’t going to work.”
